Training & Support - Morton's Air Duct Cleaning

Every visit starts with

Whole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents

Worth knowing

That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Training & Ongoing Support

You don’t need to know how to run an air duct cleaning company before you join Morton’s. What you need is the willingness to follow a system that works, treat homes the way the Cedarwell Care Promise demands, and show up for your customers the same way you’d want someone to show up for yours. We teach the trade, the operations, the marketing, and the hiring from the ground up. If you’ve never pulled a Nikro hose through a return line or priced a full-system cleaning, that’s fine. That’s actually the point of this training program. We built it so a first-time business owner can open the doors with confidence and keep them open with support that doesn’t disappear after launch.

Initial Training

Your first weeks with Morton’s are structured, hands-on, and designed for someone with zero trade background. Week one begins with orientation: you’ll learn the Cedarwell Care Promise inside and out, because every decision on a job flows from it. Shoe covers and drop cloths before anything else. Ask before you move anything in the house. Respect quiet hours when kids are napping. Explain the written price before work starts. Those aren’t suggestions. They’re the operating system.

From there, you’ll work through the technical side of air duct and dryer vent cleaning. We train on the actual equipment you’ll use in the field: Rotobrush for rotational brush cleaning, Nikro for HEPA-filtered negative air systems, and Abatement Technologies for containment when the job calls for it. You don’t need prior experience with these brands. You need to be willing to learn how they work, how to maintain them, and how to explain to a homeowner why professional equipment matters. We also cover the software stack: scheduling, customer records, photo documentation of completed work, and the written pricing process. You’ll learn how to quote a job honestly, how to photograph the clean-up before the crew leaves, and how to walk a customer through what they’re paying for.

Hiring comes next. We teach you how to find people who can be trained into the Morton’s standard: background-checked, uniformed, calm under pressure. You’ll learn our interview process, what to look for in a first hire, and how to build a small team that treats homes the way you would. By the end of initial training, you’ll have a launch checklist covering operations, equipment, marketing setup, and hiring, all tied to opening day.

Launch Support

The first thirty days after opening are the hardest, so Morton’s doesn’t leave you to figure it out alone. Launch support includes local marketing setup: your service area, your Google Business Profile, your website, your review strategy. We help you get in front of the right customers: families in your community who care about clean air, clean floors, and a crew that doesn’t track dirt through the house. The lead engine is built around the Morton’s promise, not gimmicks. When someone calls, a live person answers. Every time. You’ll learn how to answer those calls, how to set expectations, and how to deliver a written price before any work starts. And when your first jobs come in, you’ll have coaching on how to run them: from arrival to equipment setup to the final photo of the clean-up.

Ongoing Support

Support doesn’t stop after your first month. Here’s what you can count on as a Morton’s operator:

  • Field coaching and ride-alongs: When you hit a problem on a job, you call someone who has actually run the equipment, not a call center that reads from a script. Our field team knows Rotobrush and Nikro systems the way a mechanic knows engines.
  • Marketing support that stays current: Local marketing changes constantly. We track it, test it, and share what works so you’re not guessing with your advertising budget. Your website, reviews, and lead flow stay active month after month.
  • Vendor relationships and equipment access: The brands we use, Rotobrush, Nikro, Honeywell, Aprilaire, Abatement Technologies, and Guardsman, are available to you through established supplier relationships. You get access to professional equipment without negotiating every purchase alone.
  • Technology and software updates: Scheduling, photo documentation, customer follow-up. The tools evolve, and you’ll get the updates as they roll out. No stale systems, no outdated spreadsheets.
  • National brand campaigns that support local operators: The Morton’s name and the Cedarwell Care Promise are marketed nationally, which means customers already understand what to expect when they see your truck pull up. That recognition makes every local marketing dollar work harder.
  • Ongoing hiring and training resources: When you need to add a second or third technician, you’ll have access to updated hiring guides, interview frameworks, and training materials so every new hire learns the same standard from day one.

You’re Never Alone

When you operate a Morton’s location, you’re backed by the Cedarwell Care Promise, the training team, and a support structure built for people who want to run a real business without figuring everything out the hard way.
